On the 29 of September 1998, the doors of the country’s first open-air shopping center opened. Welcomed in the heart of the city, Forum Aveiro comprises 69 stores, 17,500 m², a covered parking lot with 1080 spaces, 56 apartments, leisure areas, and a garden.

With its natural stone facades, it is contemporary in style, and simultaneously in harmony with the traditional architecture of the city of Aveiro, which earned it a commendation by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
